Culture Exchanging

 Hi everyone~!

 It will become Summer vacation soon ^^ yeah

 I’m going to go back to Japan so I’m so excited about it. what about you guys? Are you ready for Summer?? I will go to the pool, beach and amusement park and so on… Also I am bit far from Tokyo where the most of my friends live the school I am going right now, so I will go to meet them and I am looking forward to it.

 By the way, last week I went to Manhattan to do some volunteer works. I am a member of the Culture Exchange committee and most of them participated to do it. We supported the Japan Day!! Oh, we worked @ Central park. It was my 2nd or 3rd time to visit there, but I haven’t walked that much and see what were inside so it was so interesting for me.

 We separated with pairs like 2 people or 3 people and do some their works. I was pair with 10 grader and she was very kind so I was so happy of it. We did an information booth. When we started to do it, we didn’t think that some people will asked us that where is held the Japan day but, unexpectedly, many people asked us where is japan day held or where  the information center is and so on… So I was so happy that we were helpful for them. In addition, we had a free time for less than 4 hours, so we were able to go shopping or eat some any kinds of food. I went with my partner and she know about Manhattan very much so we went many stores and ate some delicious foods. Firstly, we went Dylan’s candy bar and bought some many candies and this was my 1st time to go there so I thought if I come Manhattan next time, I will visit there. And then we were hungry so we went to lady M which is the cake shop in the Plaza hotel. I knew that shop so I was so happy that I could have it. Actually, it is famous for Milk crape. I had it but it was really really tasty. So if you have an opportunity to go Manhattan, please go there~! Lastly we ate waffle too 🙂 It was inside of the central park and it is called Wafle & Dinges. Dinges means topping and we will order the normal waffle and topping some many things that you like. It comes with a trucks and we have to check where the truck is. It is extremely yummy!!! Please eat it too 😉

 

 So , I had a great time to spend the time in Manhattan that day. I don’t know I can be a member of Culture Exchange Committee next year but if I can I would like to be and do some many culture Exchanging. Moreover, this was last time to do the work for us so it was wonderful opportunity. Thank you for reading~!

 

☆Sho-fu-sai☆～祥風祭～

 Hi!

 How are you doing?

 From yesterday, the climate became better and finally it feels like spring came~^^

 I was so happy because yesterday was Boys lacrosse home game. I am a manager of them so it was nice day to see lacrosse !

 Anyway, today what am I going to write is… about my school festival which was held in April ! It called Sho-fu-sai and I don’t know the meaning of Sho-fu but sai means festival in Japanese. I entered my school last September so it was my first time to join this cool event. So I was looking forward to it. At Sho-fu-sai, every classes from 9th grade to 12th grade do anything that they can do in their classes. My class made a dice game and customers can roll it and we made 6 games for each faces of the dice. We didn’t have much time to prepare for Sho-fu-sai and we made very quickly but many people said our class (9th graders) was interesting and fabulous so we were happy. Actually, we mede 6 games as I write down before and those are… Shooting, playing golf, card game, painting, making slims, and yo-yo game in the small size of pool. Other classes made ghost house or casino and those are also cool but our class can make children happy so I guess ours one was the best class! 🙂 

 sho-fu-sai made me so happy and I think bonds with 9th graders became more tight so it was my best memory!! Next year, we can’t do it with same member because new 10th graders will enter the school but I think this memory keeps forever and ever!!!

Hello everyone!
How are you doing?
I’m so glad that the exams have done in my school last week. I couldn’t sleep well at that time, so I am so happy that I am able to sleep well now 🙂
And also it is getting spring these days. But it is still cold outside and in my school, many students caught a cold or a flu. So we have to be careful for those things and be healthy all the time.
By the way, today what I am going to write is… about my recently! To write down this topic, it is the second time, but I want to introduce some interesting things.
First of all, last week on Saturday, I went snowboarding with my friends. I haven’t slid since when I was 5th grade so I was a bit scary but, when I started it was so enjoyable and I was able to jump a little! That day was day after the exam and we have to wake up at 6 o’clock and I was so tired and sleepy. However, I slept in the bus for about 2 hours so I got an energy to do snowboarding. The view from the top of the mountains, it was extremely beautiful and I was impressed with it. In addition, that day, there weren’t so many people so we could slide down easier and had so much fun. This season, I went snowboarding only this time, but it was very joyful and I felt the exams were over so it was my nice prize~ hha
Next, I would like to introduce the video from youtube! This video is about surprising a boy who like the computer game and it is so funny. As you can know from this video it makes us laugh. The boy was scary and broke down his new computer by himself and many people think that is stupid thing that he broke down it by putting his arm to the computer, but I think if I were he, I will do it to. hahha Oh maybe, I won’t crash it like his style but, I might crash the keyboard. So anyway, this video is really really hilarious so please watch it!!hha
So this was my blogging for today. To write down the things what happened in recent, I thought it is very interesting and be better memories. hha It is cold outside still so please make sure to bring your jacket when you go outside and have a wonderful weekend!! Bye~~

Long time no see~~~ hha

Recently, it is getting warm outside and nice to go out!! It is not far away from spring! yeah : ) I love this season. It is not too cool and not too hot. It is very joyful season. But I have an unlike thing for spring. That is … the spring break is too short. I know we have a long vacation in the summer, but I wanna have some more!! hahha
Oh, I have an one thing that I really happy for spring. That is I can work hard for Lacrosse. I am a member of the Lacrosse team and my position is a maneger. It is important work for players so I try to do my best in any times. Lacrosse is a sport for spring so I would like to support player as I can do my best.

So , today I want to write about what I am interested nowadays.
First recently, I really like to watch some funny videos from YouTube and I’d like to introduce one of them that I like most. That is called “Annoying Orange ” and it is orange. hha The orange always annoy to some other fruit or vegetables and it makes me so rude. hhha However it is hilarious and also makes me happy. 🙂

Secondly, I am interested in looking for clothes on the websites. I like to see what kind of clothes are popular now, like trendy things. I can find out what I want to buy so it is easy than go shopping outside. My favorite style is Harajuku style. This style is pop style and very pretty. Many of my clothes are those style so I cannot wear to my school. hha Actually, I want to wear in my school but I think others will look at me so I don’t wear 😦 Therefore, when I go back to Japan I can wear my clothes so that is one of my pleasure to go back to Japan.

Finally, I am interested in how to arrange my hair. I prefer to mess with my hair. My hair is long so I am able to make my hair into many styles. Look at this picture!! Isn’t it cool?? I don’t have a grit to do these style but when we have a party or want to arrange my hair, it is very useful if we know how to make it! And also, hair is important to girls so. hha

So, recently I am looking these things. What are you interested in right now? To think about it, it is really enjoyable so please find it!hha

~Nagoya ♪ My Home Town~

 Hello everyone!!

 Were you happy about snow days?

 I played with my friends in the snowy day! Actually, that was very cold but I enjoyed a lot. We made a small igloo and got inside. It was so interesting because you know, iguloo is really warm inside! I didn’t believe that much but I noticed it from this time.

 So today what am I going to write about is my home town in Japan. I live in Nagoya and it is located in the middle of Japan.

 It is the 3rd biggest city in Japan and it is very useful to go anywhere! For example, we can go to Tokyo by Shinkan-sen which is the fastest train for about a hour and half, also we can go to Osaka by it for about 50 minutes. Isn’t it cool?? hahha Moreover, Nagoya has many popular places and delicious food.

 For place that I rank is…

1.  Sakae
2. Nagoya castle
3. Nagoya city science museum

 First of all, Sakae is the biggest town in Nagoya. It has many shopping places to buy, delicious food, famous goods in Nagoya and so on. As you can see, in this picture it has a huge ferris wheels outside of the building. This is a shopping center called “Sunshine Sakae”. It has many kinds of shops inside but, here we have a cinema for famous idols in Japan. And it is called SKE48 which means Sakae 48. This idol group is like AKB48 from Tokyo, Akihabara.  In this cinema, we are able to meet them in anytime that they have a concert. It is so interesting and their fans always go to see them. In Nagoya, we have a very famous cafe called Mountain. It is popular for many people and it is famous of spaghetti because it has many kinds of uncommon spaghetti. For instance, Strawberry cream spaghetti or Green tea cream spaghetti and so on… And this is the Strawberry cream spaghetti→ I have never been there, but usually many people go there to enjoy these uncommon style. Next I’m going to talk about my favorite food in Nagoya. It is Shironowaru. It is made with bread and vanilla ice cream. 

Also, in Nagoya it has a huge castle named Nagoya-castle and it is famous for golden dolphins which have on the top of the castle. When I was a kindergarten or in the elementary school, we often go to see it and learn history a lot. It is so beautiful. In there we are able to meet the people who are in the history. hhha
Lastly is about Nagoya city science museum. Do you know why it is popular?? It is because we can see the biggest planetarium in the world!! That is so cool and I have never been there so that is most place that I want to go right now!! hha

Osaka~大阪

Hi everyone~

Last week we had very chilly and snow day. Are you okay with those climate??

I couldn’t sleep well last week because I have a too much work to do so I was able to sleep in the snow day ^ ^ Happy snow day gave me a nice dream while I was sleeping. haha Make sure that you don’t catch a cold.

 Today what I’m gonna tell you a story is about Osaka which is 2nd big city in Japan. Osaka is lis located in west side of Japan and it has a lot of population. For about 9 million people live in there. By the way, Osaka is my favorite place in Japan and it is because there have many places to  enjoy, many original delicious food and people are interesting.First, I would like to introduce the places that I like in ranking style.

  1.USJ Universal Studio in Japan

  2.Dotonbori

  3.Umeda  

Universal studio is famous of amusement park in the world as you know, and USJ in the Japanese version.It is a bit small than Americans but we can walk and enjoy the whole things so I think this is the best size for amusement park. My best attraction is Hollywood dream the ride which is a rollercoaster. This rollercoaster is not as same as other one. Because before we ride on we can pick the song and able to listen it during we ride.  Also only now it fell down from the back way! I wanna ride on it when I back to Japan. So this is my best rollercoaster ever!

2nd I wanna introduce about Dotonbori. Here it has so many fashionable buildings and also it has many delicious food. My best store in Dotonbori is “Don Ki Ho Te”. Why I like it because, we are able to buy cheaper than other stores and can buy many interesting things. For example, huge huge snacks, costumes or huge shampoo and so on.  Moreover, this building looks so cool and it is because, ferris wheels are surrounded it. Don’t you think fantastic idea? hahha Next, I wanna tell you about delicious food in Dotonbori. My best food is “Takoyaki” which is octopus inside and softy and the sauce is tasty. It is Osaka’s traditional food and we can eat it anywhere. Although I recommend you to go to Takoyaki store called “Kukuru”.　Why i recommend you here is , the store’s shape is interesting and also the octopus are huge than other stores. hha So it is really popular and famous!

 Lastly, I wanna introduce about Umeda. Umeda is the biggest town in Osaka and many people concentrate here. There it has many shops, department stores, and restaurants and so on.  In addition, the subways or trains stations are extremely large and we can go everywhere so it is nice for tourists. Among Umeda, I think the building called “Umeda Sky Building” is a best place.  In there, it has s many things to do. For example, watch movies, go shopping, or have meals and so on. However, when you go there, you can go to see the whole view from top of building so it is romantic and feel so good. That’s why it has a round thing on the top of this building.

Hatsumode ~初詣~

Did you have a great time during the winter break?

I’ve backed to Japan!!

It’s have been two months since I met my family so I was so impressed to meet them. Also, they waited me very warm condition so I was so happy.

By the way, today I wanna introduce a story that I did this winter vacation in Japan. First of all, most of Japanese will go to a shrine or temple on January 1st to greet . This is Japanese traditional event and so we always go there on New Year’s day!! It is called Hatsumode (初詣) in Japanese. I went to a shrine with my family and grandparents which is near to my house. It was very crowded that we lined up to greet the gods for about one hour. It was cold outside but people enjoyed to line up.

Since there has many kinds of stores to eat snacks or small meals. It is called Demise which means outside of stores. We can eat those things in extremely cheep coast and so it is popular. Demise usually appears some festivals or some events. Also, in those time many people buy it and have fun. Thus if you find Demise when you visit Japan please go there. hahha
Anyway, next I wanna show you some famous shrines or temples to go Hatsumode in Japan. For shrine most people visit to Meiji-jinguu which is located in Tokyo. About 313 million people visit to greet the god there. Actually I live in Nagoya which is located in between Tokyo and Osaka. In Nagoya there also has a huge famous shrine. It is called Atsuta-jinguu. About 230 million people go there. It is near to m house from there but I didn’t go because we can’t go home properly because of many people. For temple most people visit to Naritasanshinsyoji. You know from the name but it is in Narita-Chiba. About 300 million people go there. Last I wanna introduce is Sensoji which is in Asakusa-Tokyo. Here is famous of Demise. I recommend you to go there. Here is the best Demise ever~^^
Everbody~~~ if you have an opportunity to visit Japan in winter break please go to a shrine or a temple and make a wish!!

Back to New York!!!

Have you had a great time during the winter vacation??
I’m so happy that I came here these days. haha

This week, on Tuesday, I’ve arrived New York. It was really cold in here that we have to wear many clothes than Japan. Otherwise, I can feel anything. haha I thought Japan was pretty cold but New York was more windy outside and so I was very surprised. First, before I came back to here, I’ve seen some TV news about New York from Japan. It said that a huge cold wave will come soon and it was forecasting the day before I came back. So I was really concerned about that if we cannot arrive at the airport. However, when I arrived at the airport, it didn’t have any heavy snow so I thought it was just only heavy snowy day. By the way, actually I had a big problem in the airport. It was the time to pick up my luggage. My luggage wasn’t on the belt conveyor like others. I thought mine was stolen by someone but I found it near the belt conveyor. I was shocked… ’cause mine was broken. one of my roller to support the luggage was gone. The roller was on my luggage but, we can’t pull it in easily. I think it was broken because I put it in too many things. Although that was my favorite one so I was sad about it. Few time later some staff in the airport close to me and said that we can fix it with gratis. It takes a few time but it wasn’t recovered. Finally, mine can fix only the maker of this luggages’s shop so, next when I back to Japan, I’ll go to the shop and fix it. This was my big big problem soon I came back here. haha
Next day,on Wednesday, we had a school like normally. I had a great time. I thought I like school and my friends!!:) Thus, I’m sad that I leave Japan but I’m so happy to meet many people in Keio and also this school life!! ^ ^

I wanna be better and grow much than now when I go back to Japan next! hha
